HKARC aims to provide legal advice, material assistance, and mental health support to those who are settling in the UK because of the recent events in Hong Kong, such as those who have been directly involved in or impacted by events in Hong Kong resulting in substantial fear of infringement of their human rights.
Forms of assistance that we may provide to individuals include:
Legal support and advice for immigration and asylum application
Provision of free or low-cost accommodation to those would cannot afford private rentals
Provision of appropriate mental health support for a range of issues including anxiety, depression, and psychological trauma
Future plans include support on cultural integration into the UK, such as workshops on English communication and cultural learning
